Position Overview:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a diligent B2B Collector to join their team in Tempe, AZ. This is a long-term temporary project that offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing business-to-business collections and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business-to-business collections, ensuring all accounts are current and payments are received on time.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to resolve outstanding payment issues and provide excellent customer service.Continue
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and update account information as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the department.
  • Identify and escalate any collection issues to management for further action.

Requirements:

  • Previous and recent experience in a collections role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Work Hours:

This position requires working Monday through Friday, with the option of either 7:30 PM to 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role is 100% in-office in Tempe, AZ.
